The FMRRA 2021 season round two gets underway this weekend at Palm Beach International Raceway in Jupiter, FL!
Round one was a great weekend of racing with some close battles. It was great to see all of the current and past expert and amateur overall champions on the track going at it laying down darkies everywhere.
Our new for 2021 300 Pursuit team race got off to a great start regardless of the tough wet conditions on Saturday. The 20+ lap race featuring Superstreet 300 and Moto 3 class motorcycles with staggered starts based upon qualifying and previous race times was a thriller that came down to the last lap with the team of Aaron Tennyson and Daniel Caldwell taking the win over German Vacca and Carlos Salvatierra Jr. The 300 Pursuit team race begins on Saturday at 3:55pm directly following the sidecar sprint race.
The always entertaining and drama filled team championships are underway. New for 2021 is the Trio Cup, a smaller three person team championship along with the larger 8 racer team champion squads.. The Trio Cup will allow more smaller focused teams to participate in a team championship and still be a part of a larger Team Championship.
Sunday the action heats up again with the twelve lap Grande Corsa races in the morning followed by the hyper six lap sprint races in the afternoon.
